Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Sapp!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sapp with that takedown attempt.
Sapp shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lesnar as he avoids it easily.
Sapp misses with a two punch combination.

Lesnar lands a big head kick that sends Sapp tumbling to the mat! Lesnar takes a step backwards and waves Sapp back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lesnar closes the distance and pushes Sapp back into the cage.

Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sapp wants a takedown but no success here.
Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Sapp.
Lesnar prevents a body shot from Sapp.
Sapp tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lesnar just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lesnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sapp fails to pull guard.
Lesnar can't break the clinch.

Lesnar breaks the clinch.
Lesnar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sapp misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lesnar lands a nice looking body kick.
Sapp looks winded!

Lesnar moves into the clinch successfully.

Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lesnar drops Sapp with a beautiful combination! Sapp stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lesnar is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lesnar breaks from the clinch.

Lesnar lands a left and a right that send Sapp crashing to the mat, dazed. Lesnar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Sapp is rocked!
Lesnar dances in with a quick combination. Sapp is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lesnar snaps Sapp's head back. Sapp stumbles backwards against the cage. Lesnar steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sapp's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sapp just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brock Lesnar!
During a confident post fight interview, Brock Lesnar thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
