Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyler Myles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Renegades of Funk. Myles is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Danger Zone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Skyler Myles!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myles throws a leg kick but Il checks it.
Il moves out of range of the body kick from Myles.
Myles lets loose with a powerful body kick. Il will feel that in the morning.
Myles tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Il is able to avoid easily.
Myles throws a leg kick that misses.
Il with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Myles shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Myles tries a head kick but it misses.
Il misses with a body shot.
Myles is looking to slow Il down with leg kicks.
Myles keeps the fight on the outside.
Il tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Myles was well out of range. Poor timing from Il.
Myles throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Il closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Il takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Myles fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Il has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Il connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Myles's hands.
Nice body kick there by Myles.
Il throws a leg kick
and Myles counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kim Young Il seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myles scores with a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Il makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Il throws a leg kick which misses Myles's front leg but catches the back leg as Myles tries to avoid it.

Il shoots in but Myles avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Il chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Myles can pounce on him.
Myles throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Myles bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Myles keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Skyler Myles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Il misses with a wild body shot.
Il lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Myles at a distance.
Il throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Il takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Il with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Myles to score with a decent uppercut.
Myles scores with a jab to the head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Myles.
Il's jab looks to have found its range, popping Myles under the eye.

Myles gets tackled into the cage by Il. Il maintains the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Myles.
A nice left hand lands by Myles.
Il struggles to land a body shot inside as Myles controls his hands.
Il stalling in the clinch but Myles improves position.
Myles tries a body shot but Il blocks it.
Myles is pressed up against the cage. Il has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Myles down to the mat. Myles avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Myles misses with a head kick.
Il will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Il shoots in and drives through. Myles sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Young Il. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Myles counters with a stiff right hand.
Myles scores with a head kick. Il tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Il is rocked!
OH! Il has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Myles smells blood and charges in for the finish! Myles unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Il sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Skyler Myles decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
