Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Tulppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hermanni Holopainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Holopainen's choice of entrance music: Black&Yellow. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hermanni Holopainen!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holopainen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Holopainen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tulppu but Tulppu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tulppu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Holopainen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Hermanni Holopainen has been cut.
Tulppu throws a series of strikes that have Holopainen backpedaling.
Tulppu lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tulppu throws a leg kick but Holopainen moved away.
Holopainen is looking to clinch.
Hermanni Holopainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holopainen shoots in but no luck this time.
Teppo Tulppu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hermanni Holopainen.

Holopainen forces Tulppu back against the cage and clinches.
Holopainen is trying to maintain a safe position but Tulppu gets an underhook and turns Holopainen into the cage.
Tulppu lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Come on Tulppu - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Holopainen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tulppu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Holopainen wants a takedown but no success here.

Tulppu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tulppu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holopainen.
Tulppu scores with a jab to the body.
Holopainen looks winded!
Tulppu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tulppu jabs Holopainen right on the nose. Holopainen blinks but takes it well.
Tulppu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tulppu, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holopainen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tulppu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tulppu, as that shot connected.
Holopainen shoots in for a double leg but Tulppu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tulppu sends Holopainen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tulppu is motioning to the referee to let Holopainen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Holopainen is rocked!
Holopainen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Holopainen is still on wobbly legs! Can Tulppu finish him?
Holopainen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tulppu just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Holopainen has gone limp and this one is over!
