Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Just (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Say it Ain't So. Just has chosen Intriguing Possibilities- Trent Reznor as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Just!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Just just misses with a punch to the body.
Just tries for a takedown but Furlong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice cross by Just.
Furlong fails with a takedown attempt.
Furlong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Just.
A left and a right from Furlong both land. Nice combination.
Just slips under a jab.
Just misses with a left hand

and Furlong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Just won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Furlong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Edward Furlong.
Just shoots in looking for a takedown. Furlong tries to sprawl out of it but Just keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Furlong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Just is on top in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Just's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Just postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Furlong has control of Just's left arm, preventing Just from doing any damage.

Just has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Furlong is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
