The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Love paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zulu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Love keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Love lands a jab-cross combination.
Love avoids the body shot from Zulu.
Zulu misses with a combination
and Love counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zulu has his takedown stuffed
and Love makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Love ducks under a wild hook from Zulu.
Love drops his hands momentarily and Zulu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Love swats away the attempt to clinch by Zulu.
Love tries a head kick but it misses.
Zulu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zulu. Love does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zulu wants to clinch up but Love keeps it at a distance.
Zulu closes the distance and pushes Love back into the cage.
Love lands a hook to the side of the head.
Love lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zulu backwards.

Zulu managing to block the knees to the body from Love.
Still in the clinch, Love scores with a nice short uppercut.
Zulu tightens his grip and picks Love up, before dumping him to the ground. Love manages to land in guard.
Love wants to stand up but Zulu is controlling him.
Zulu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Love is keeping the position for now.
Zulu trying to control the position from guard on top but Love is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Zulu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zhaka Zulu wasn't active enough on the ground.
Love throws a hook but Zulu avoids it easily.
Love stuffs the takedown attempt from Zulu. Zulu gets slowly back to his feet.
Love darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A head kick misses from Love.
Zulu throws a combination that misses
and Love counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Zulu takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Love scores with a hook to the body. Zulu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Zulu works over Love's head and body with a nice combination.
Zulu throws a series of punches but Love moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Love throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Zhaka Zulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Love throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Zulu is rocked!
Zulu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Love's hands.
Zulu misses with a looping right.
Love lands a big uppercut and Zulu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zulu looks OK. Love waves Zulu back to his feet!
Zulu is still on wobbly legs! Can Love finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Love changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zulu looks winded!
Love lands a nice shot to the body.
Love weaves into range and cracks Zulu right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Zulu goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Love is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
