The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunter gets tackled into the cage by Jambo. Jambo maintains the clinch.
Hunter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jambo smiles and moves away.
Jimmy Jambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jambo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hunter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Jambo to counter with a crisp jab.

Jambo is trying to maintain a safe position but Hunter gets an underhook and turns Jambo into the cage.

Jambo throws a low kick but Hunter avoids it.
Jambo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hunter.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jambo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jimmy Jambo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jambo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
An inside leg kick from Jambo misses.
Hunter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jambo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jambo wants it to stay on the feet.

Hunter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

What's Jambo going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Jambo pushes Hunter away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hunter gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Jambo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Jambo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hunter misses with a takedown
and Jambo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jambo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Jambo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jambo is trying to control Hunter's posture. Hunter takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Jambo! Hunter is rotating here... this could be the end... Jambo is out! Hunter has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
