The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolarich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kolarich fails with a takedown attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vallefort. That's going to slow Kolarich down.
Kolarich sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kolarich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vallefort.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vallefort.
Vallefort looks for a takedown but Kolarich sprawls well.

Vallefort dives in and grabs Kolarich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kolarich pushes down on Vallefort's head and hops out.

Kolarich clinches up with Vallefort and pushes him back against the cage.
Vallefort tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kolarich smiles and moves away.

Kolarich takes the fight into the clinch.

Kolarich escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kolarich slaps away a takedown attempt from Vallefort, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vallefort stuffs the takedown attempt from Kolarich. Kolarich gets slowly back to his feet.
Vallefort looks for a takedown but Kolarich sprawls well.

Vallefort tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kolarich misses with a takedown attempt - Vallefort sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kolarich gets tackled into the cage by Vallefort. Vallefort maintains the clinch.
Vallefort is trying to push Kolarich away but Kolarich has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vallefort is trying to break free.

Vallefort ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vallefort no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kolarich throws a sloppy strike and Vallefort has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Kolarich is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Vallefort!
