The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambini leaves Serrano with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gambini misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Serrano.
Gambini changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Serrano tries to avoid it but Gambini manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Serrano to the ground. Serrano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Serrano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Serrano lands a good knee to the midsection. Gambini won't want to take too many of those.
