Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Preston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Corbett!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corbett has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Preston avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Preston is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Corbett gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Corbett ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Corbett no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Corbett throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Corbett is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Preston frees his head nicely. Oh but Corbett has switched to an armbar! Preston is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
