The crowd seem to be enjoying Pieropan's choice of entrance music: Titanium. Juberto Pieropan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pieropan's waist but Pieropan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carvalho off to one side.
Anderson Carvalho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carvalho moves out of range of the strikes.
Carvalho fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Pieropan misses its intended target.
Pieropan throws a big shot that misses.
Carvalho shoots in for a takedown but Pieropan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Carvalho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carvalho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pieropan tries to avoid it but Carvalho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pieropan to the ground. Pieropan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Carvalho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carvalho shoots in but Pieropan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pieropan slaps away a takedown attempt from Carvalho, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Carvalho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Carvalho gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Anderson Carvalho has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carvalho is defended easily by Pieropan.

Pieropan pushes Carvalho up against the cage in a clinch.

Pieropan pushes Carvalho against the cage. Pieropan is working some dirty boxing. Pieropan pushes off with a quick right hook! Carvalho goes down! Carvalho tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pieropan moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
