Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilkuri shoots for a takedown but Luukku saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hilkuri shoots for a double leg takedown but Luukku sprawls well. He's pushed Hilkuri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hilkuri tries to clinch there but Luukku circles away.
Hilkuri takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Luukku takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Pentti Hilkuri has been cut.
Hilkuri shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Luukku defends it nicely.
Alex Luukku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pentti Hilkuri.
Hilkuri shoots in for a double leg but Luukku sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Luukku connects with a body shot that sends Hilkuri's belly button to the back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Luukku dives in and scores a takedown into Hilkuri's guard.
Luukku scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Luukku slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Luukku's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Luukku is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Luukku punishes Hilkuri's body with a nice straight punch.
Luukku throws a head kick but Hilkuri moves out of range.
Luukku lands with a thumping leg kick.
Luukku fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hilkuri checks a leg kick.
Hilkuri is trying desperately to land a takedown but Luukku is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hilkuri.

Luukku shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hilkuri is trying to defend but Luukku finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hilkuri defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Luukku.
Luukku looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Hilkuri wants to hold on but Luukku pushes him away.

Luukku is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hilkuri can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hilkuri is desperately trying to improve his position but Luukku has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hilkuri is in a horrible position here. Luukku smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Luukku! Hilkuri is hurt baaadly! Luukku is firing away with more strikes - Hilkuri is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
