Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvey comes to the cage accompanied by Bitches Brew. Steel has chosen Immortal Technique-Point of no return as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cory Steel!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey throws a nice outside leg kick.
Harvey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steel misses the shot to the body.
Harvey moves out of range of the strikes.

Steel scores with a one two! Harvey had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Doug Harvey has been cut.
Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Steel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harvey was well out of range. Poor timing from Steel.

Harvey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That kick from Harvey tenderised Steel's leg. Steel is trying to keep his angry face on.
Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harvey moves away.

Harvey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel tries to avoid it but Harvey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel to the ground. Steel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Harvey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Harvey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steel's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Doug Harvey will probably get the nod.

Steel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harvey eats them both and turns towards Steel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
