Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henley Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael MacRoberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacRoberts is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pretty Vacant by The Sex Pistols. Henley Harris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacRoberts swings and misses with a hook to the body.
MacRoberts cracks Harris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Horrible takedown by Harris or perhaps it was just good defense by MacRoberts which made him look bad.
MacRoberts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harris.
MacRoberts lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Harris drops his hands momentarily and MacRoberts takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
MacRoberts sizes up Harris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
MacRoberts darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Harris takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
MacRoberts lunges at Harris with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Harris's hand.
A combination from MacRoberts does no damage.
MacRoberts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harris doesn't seem bothered though.
MacRoberts misses with a wild combination.
MacRoberts cracks Harris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Harris misses with a takedown attempt
and MacRoberts counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henley Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
MacRoberts throws a good cross that connects.
MacRoberts lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
MacRoberts throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Harris tumbling to the canvas!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
MacRoberts has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Harris is proving hard to escape from.

MacRoberts gets to his feet - Harris follows without any prompting.
Harris seems to have got his legs back now.
Harris is trying hard to land a takedown here. MacRoberts sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
MacRoberts scores with a hook to the body. Harris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Harris has a closed guard, preventing MacRoberts from standing up.

Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. MacRoberts is aware though and is defending well.
MacRoberts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Harris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
MacRoberts trying to stand up but can't free himself from Harris's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Harris has his foot on MacRoberts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MacRoberts works his way back into a safe position though.

Harris slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Harris tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
MacRoberts is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Harris has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Harris is putting a hurting on MacRoberts here, landing some big shots from side control.

Harris chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before MacRoberts can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

MacRoberts leaves Harris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Harris moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Harris needs to keep his hands up - MacRoberts had a free shot at his head there.
Michael MacRoberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MacRoberts throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Harris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

MacRoberts bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Harris's head.
MacRoberts lunges at Harris with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Harris's hand.
Harris gets cracked with a nice right hand there by MacRoberts.
MacRoberts connects with a combination that backs up Harris into the ropes. MacRoberts lands a flurry of punches that gets past Harris's guard. Harris is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! MacRoberts bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael MacRoberts!
