Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusz Pasterz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Gracie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dusz Pasterz!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Pasterz as he checks the leg kick.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gracie stuffs the takedown.
Pasterz has his takedown stuffed

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Gracie's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pasterz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gracie smiles and moves away.
Kevin Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dusz Pasterz.
Pasterz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Pasterz tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pasterz drives through with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Pasterz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dusz Pasterz.
Gracie throws a right and a left that Pasterz avoids nicely.
Kevin Gracie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Pasterz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gracie!

Pasterz looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Pasterz trying to control but Gracie is having none of it.
Pasterz content just to control the position here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pasterz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gracie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pasterz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Gracie is trying to stand but he's just given Pasterz his back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pasterz tightening his grip on Gracie, looking for the choke.
Pasterz is riding his opponent, not letting Gracie buck him off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dusz Pasterz dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Pasterz throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Pasterz shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie misses with a wild combination.
Pasterz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pasterz off to one side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pasterz controlling the action here for a moment.

Pasterz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Pasterz.
Pasterz tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.

Pasterz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a two punch combo.

Gracie tries to sprawl but Pasterz drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gracie scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pasterz manages to mount him!

Pasterz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pasterz lands a nice shot to the head.
Pasterz looking to control but Gracie is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Gracie is squirming around, avoiding Pasterz's attempts to control the action.
Gracie could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gracie is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Pasterz has taken his back!

Dusz Pasterz has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gracie is trying to stand back up.

Pasterz is looking for the choke from the back position but Gracie is controlling his hands well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pasterz sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Gracie taps out!
