The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venter misses with a body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dishonor. That's going to slow Venter down.
Phil Venter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Venter misses with a low kick as Dishonor jumps back.
Venter throws a lazy uppercut
and Dishonor counters with an inside leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Dishonor blocks the leg kick.
Dishonor scores with a nice body kick.
Venter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Venter throws a body punch but Dishonor moves out of range.
Venter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dishonor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Venter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dishonor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Venter at a distance.
Venter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big left from Venter misses.
Nice straight punches there by Dishonor. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dishonor.
Venter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dishonor.
Venter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dishonor scores with a kick to the body.
Dishonor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dishonor lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dishonor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Venter trying to hold on to Dishonor's head to control him but Dishonor postures up.
Dishonor takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dishonor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Venter is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
