The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hari moves into the clinch.

Hari manages to break the clinch.
Hari throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Don Ryan has been cut.

Hari gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hari tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ryan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hari tries to score a body lock takedown but Ryan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Hari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hari scores with a kick to the body.
Ryan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ryan misses with a few strikes there.
Ryan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hari tries for a takedown but Ryan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Don Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Badr Hari.

Hari is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ryan to keep the fight standing.

No joy there for Ryan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hari shoots in and drives through. Ryan sprawls well.
Ryan throws a head kick that misses
and Hari counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Ryan is rocked!
Hari looks for a takedown but Ryan sprawls well.
Oh Ryan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ryan gets tackled into the cage by Hari. Hari maintains the clinch.

Hari drags the fight down to the ground.

Hari pushes Ryan off and gets back to his feet.
Hari looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ryan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hari.
Hari ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Ryan out cold! The fight is over!

During a confident post fight interview, Badr Hari thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
