Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sylvester Stallone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cam Floid!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Floid looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Floid closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stallone to the mat! Stallone manages to get full guard.
Floid stops Stallone from standing up.
Floid trying to control the position from guard on top but Stallone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Floid is working Stallone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Floid in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Floid gets to his feet - Stallone follows without any prompting.

Stallone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Floid looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Stallone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Floid is just riding it out for now. Stallone eventually gives up the hold.

Stallone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Floid is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cam Floid dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Stallone moves in looking to clinch but Floid pushes him off.
Stallone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stallone.


It looks like Cam Floid has been cut.

Stallone looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Floid!
Floid tries to get back to half guard but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stallone thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Stallone there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Stallone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Floid is wriggling around trying to escape.

Stallone throws some wild stikes that Floid manages to avoid easily.
You get the feeling that Floid really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Stallone tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Stallone throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Floid because Stallone loaded up on that one.
Stallone throws some wild stikes that Floid manages to avoid easily.

Stallone working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Floid is looking to get to half guard.

Stallone moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Floid has worked his arm free - good work by Floid!
Cam Floid has got the better of the ground game so far.
Stallone just content to control the position.

Stallone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Floid keeps working.

Stallone swings around for an armbar but Floid sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stallone's guard.

Floid gets to his feet - Stallone follows without any prompting.
Stallone looks for the body kick but Floid saw that one coming.

Stallone shoots in and gets a takedown into Floid's guard.
Stallone trying to stand up but can't free himself from Floid's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stallone wants to control from the top but Floid keeps moving.

Floid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Stallone gets to his feet. Floid looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sylvester Stallone dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Cam Floid's cut.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Stallone closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Floid's guard.

Floid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stallone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stallone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Floid is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Stallone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stallone tries to stand but Floid is controlling from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Stallone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Floid, up you get!

Floid forces Stallone back against the cage and clinches.

Floid successfully pulls guard.
Stallone is looking to stand up but Floid won't let him.

Floid looks to land a combination but Stallone avoids it well.

Floid gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stallone to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Floid looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Stallone has picked Floid up and slammed him! Floid can't keep hold of the triangle and Stallone manages to pass to side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Floid tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stallone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A lull in the action here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sylvester Stallone showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Stallone has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
