Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gegard Zaromskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Saurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saurus has chosen Kraantje Pappie - Waar is Kraan? as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saurus looks to score with a jab to the body but Zaromskis is just out of range.
Saurus misses with a looping right.
Saurus ducks under a wild hook from Zaromskis.
Gegard Zaromskis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zaromskis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Saurus tries to work over Zaromskis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Saurus misses with a body punch.
Zaromskis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Saurus is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Zaromskis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Saurus wants to control but Zaromskis is keeping him busy.
Zaromskis is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Saurus is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Saurus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zaromskis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zaromskis shrugs it off.

Zaromskis is bucking up trying to escape but Saurus cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Zaromskis is looking to improve his position but Saurus isn't that keen on the idea.
Saurus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
