PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Semenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalton Pressnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A head kick misses from Semenov.

Semenov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pressnell is trying to control the position but Semenov postures up.

Semenov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Semenov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pressnell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Semenov has managed to get both his arms back between Pressnell's legs - danger averted.

and Pressnell counters with a big head kick but Semenov shrugs it off.

Pressnell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Semenov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pressnell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Semenov pulls down on the head and he's put Pressnell to sleep! This one is all over!
