Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noburo Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen comes to the cage accompanied by Let It Rock. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jin Sen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sen throws a head kick but Kobayashi moves out of range.
Sen throws a front kick that sends Kobayashi stumbling back into the cage.
Sen throws a low kick but Kobayashi avoids it.

Kobayashi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Kobayashi is working for a kimura here but Sen manages to reverse the position and he's now in Kobayashi's guard.

Sen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kobayashi has his foot on Sen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sen works his way back into a safe position though.

Kobayashi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sen and Kobayashi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kobayashi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kobayashi shoots in for a double leg but Sen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sen throws a sloppy head kick and Kobayashi moves out of range easily.
Sen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kobayashi looks to land a combination but Sen avoids it well.
Sen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sen misses with an uppercut. Kobayashi saw that one coming.

Sen throws a right and a left that Kobayashi avoids nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A swing and a miss from Sen.
Kobayashi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sen tries to avoid it but Kobayashi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sen to the ground. Sen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jin Sen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noburo Kobayashi.
Sen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sen.

Sen throws a hook to the side of Kobayashi's head but Kobayashi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jin Sen dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sen is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Kobayashi hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
