Rod dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Timur Rod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rod misses with a takedown

and Jfgf counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rod's guard now.
Jfgf is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jfgf trying to control the position from guard on top but Rod is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jfgf working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rod's head.
Rod is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jfgf drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jfgf as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rod screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jfgf! Nice submission victory there!
