The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wood.
Wood defending well as Marciano loads up on a big left hand.
Marciano closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Marciano takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A lazy left from Wood finds it's target.
Marciano fails to land with a series of punches.
Wood scores with a nice head shot.
Marciano is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wood.
Rob Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marciano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marciano throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wood.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Wood both land. Nice combination.

Marciano throws a right hand that Wood ducks under and follows up with a left that Wood also avoids with ease.
Oh Marciano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Marciano is breathing heavily.
Wood connects with a stiff jab that staggers Marciano - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
