The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotterdam Jr throws a looping overhand right but Gauge ducks down to avoid it.

Gauge swings wildly with an uppercut but Rotterdam Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.

Yourn Rotterdam Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gauge cracks Rotterdam Jr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Rotterdam Jr counters with a three punch combo that has Gauge backing up. Gauge nods at Rotterdam Jr to acknowledge the strikes.
Nice uppercut lands for Gauge. That snapped Rotterdam Jr's head back.
Gauge takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Rotterdam Jr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gauge fakes the leg kick and cracks Rotterdam Jr in the body.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Rotterdam Jr in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
