Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Sypher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Jacobs with that takedown attempt.

Jacobs postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sypher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jacobs , into his guard.
Sypher looking to sit in guard and control but Jacobs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jacobs postures up and lands a big shot to Sypher's brow.
Jacobs postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jacobs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jacobs drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sypher looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sypher looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sypher!

Sypher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sypher wants to pass the guard but Jacobs is keeping the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jacobs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sypher's half guard.
Sypher is looking for a sweep. Jacobs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jacobs lands a big shot there that rocks Sypher but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacobs scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Jacobs tries to control but Sypher wriggling away.

Sypher is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jacobs locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Sypher is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Glen Jacobs !
A very excited looking Glen Jacobs rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
