Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Drexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Camden Brooking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Drexler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Camden Brooking's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Drexler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Camden Brooking!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drexler fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brooking tries a head kick but it misses.
Brooking just misses with a punch to the body.
Brooking works over Drexler's head and body with a nice combination.
Brooking fails with a takedown attempt.
Brooking misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Drexler counters with a nice leg kick.
Brooking misses with a body shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Drexler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brooking drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sloppy strikes from Drexler. Those never looked like landing.
Brooking misses the body punch
and Drexler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Drexler avoids the body shot from Brooking.
A lazy left from Drexler finds it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drexler. Brooking does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Drexler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Drexler lands a shoulder strike.
Drexler taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Brooking has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drexler avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Drexler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Brooking drives through with a takedown into Drexler's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Brooking postures up in Drexler's guard and throws a big left but Drexler blocks it.
Brooking throwing strikes from guard but Drexler blocks nicely.

Drexler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Brooking has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Brooking won't allow Drexler to get back to his feet.

Drexler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brooking on the ground.

Brooking thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brooking stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drexler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drexler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brooking is one step ahead there.

Brooking drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brooking jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brooking loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Drexler on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Drexler tries to get out of the position.
Drexler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brooking's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brooking looking for a guillotine here but Drexler defends easily.

Brooking has his feet on Drexler's thighs here. He's pushed Drexler off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Drexler screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
