Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Els (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuppu Lupaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Els comes to the cage accompanied by Cassidy - Wake Up. Lupaus has chosen Finnish Alphabet & Pronunciation as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nuppu Lupaus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Els looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ernie Els seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Els tries to clinch there but Lupaus circles away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lupaus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Lupaus tries to bum rush Els with a series of wild strikes but Els uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Els seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Lupaus is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Els tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lupaus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
