PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dante Xylar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hano Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clown rushes Xylar and presses him up against the cage.
Xylar looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Clown is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Clown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Xylar slaps away a takedown attempt from Clown, before circling back to the center of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Clown pushes Xylar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Xylar swats away the attempt to clinch by Clown.

Clown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Xylar, pushing him back against the cage.

Xylar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Clown tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Xylar is in Clown's guard.

Clown clinches up with Xylar and pushes him back against the cage.
Xylar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clown smiles and moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A close round but Hano Clown will probably get the nod.

Clown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xylar pinned against the cage. Xylar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Clown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Clown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xylar tries to avoid it but Clown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xylar to the ground. Xylar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hano Clown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Xylar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Clown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Xylar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Clown gets to his feet. Xylar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clown's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

I would just about give that final round to Hano Clown.
Well Clown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
