The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tourney connects with a solid leg kick.
Tourney feints and then cracks Funkyama's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Funkyama down.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tourney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tourney throws a leg kick which misses Funkyama's front leg but catches the back leg as Funkyama tries to avoid it.
Tourney throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Funkyama moves out of range as Tourney throws a body kick.
Tourney connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

A nice inside leg kick there by Tourney. That's going to slow Funkyama down.
Funkyama closes the distance and clinches up with Tourney, looking for a takedown. Funkyama pushes Tourney against the cage but Tourney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Funkyama takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Life Tourney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tourney lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tourney drops Funkyama with a naaaaasty hook - Funkyama is in real trouble here! Tourney dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
