The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab-cross combination lands for Gnata and sends McCowan crashing to the mat! Gnata follows him down to the mat - McCowan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
McCowan is rocked!
It looks like Tony McCowan has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gnata is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, McCowan is hurt! He's hurt bad - Gnata fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save McCowan from any more punishment! Congratulations to Gnata! Great finish!

Haloti Gnata spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
