The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dorrestijn fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Fuentes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dorrestijn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dorrestijn looking to throw knees to the head but Fuentes is blocking nicely.

Fuentes is looking to control Dorrestijn's arms but Dorrestijn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fuentes has his back to the cage.

Dorrestijn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fuentes looks gassed!
Dorrestijn is pressed up against the cage. Fuentes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dorrestijn down to the mat. Dorrestijn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Fuentes is still on wobbly legs! Can Dorrestijn finish him?
Hans Dorrestijn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Fuentes.

Dorrestijn has cage pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Fuentes is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dorrestijn - that's hurt Fuentes badly! Oh, another knee lands and Fuentes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Fuentes doesn't seem to be complaining.
