The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muerte ducks under a wild hook from Olhoffer.
Muerte tries to bum rush Olhoffer with a series of wild strikes but Olhoffer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Olhoffer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Muerte fails with the takedown.
Muerte lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Ray Olhoffer has been cut.
Olhoffer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Muerte.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muerte is trying hard to land a takedown here. Olhoffer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Muerte tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olhoffer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muerte somewhat.

Muerte shoots in for a takedown but Olhoffer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Muerte looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Muerte will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Olhoffer stuns Muerte with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Olhoffer counters with a nice uppercut.

Olhoffer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Muerte sprawling to the canvas! Muerte rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Olhoffer finish him?!

Olhoffer ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Muerte's jaw. Muerte's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Olhoffer does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
