The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Drummond misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Igo.
Arnold Drummond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Igo moves in looking to clinch but Drummond pushes him off.
Igo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drummond manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Drummond. That's going to slow Igo down.
Igo walks into a jab.

It looks like Liam Igo has been cut.
Drummond scores with a hook to the body. Igo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Drummond changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Drummond throws a quick inside leg kick.
Drummond keeps the fight on the outside.
Igo misses with a body shot.
Igo avoids the body shot from Drummond.
Igo throws a lazy head kick
and Drummond counters with a thumping low kick.
Nice takedown defense from Drummond. No joy for Igo on that attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Igo takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Drummond catches Igo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Drummond jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Igo moves to clinch but Drummond breaks away
and Drummond counters with a left to the body.
Igo tries to close the distance and clinch but Drummond swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Igo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Drummond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Drummond lands with an overhand left.
Drummond moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Drummond throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Igo misses with a takedown
and Drummond counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Igo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drummond circles away.
Arnold Drummond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Igo.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drummond takes a swing at Igo's ribcage but misses.
That kick from Drummond tenderised Igo's leg. Igo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Drummond cracks a nice hook into Igo's ribs.
Drummond lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Drummond connects with a leg kick. Igo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Igo fails with the takedown.
Igo looks gassed!
Drummond lands a brutal head kick. Igo looks out on his feet and Drummond throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
