Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vladimir Zenin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedo connects with a nice looking jab.
Bedo connects with a high kick.
Bedo avoids the body shot from Zenin.
Zenin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bedo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
No joy there for Zenin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

enabling Zenin to counter with a crisp jab.

Bedo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zenin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bedo's guard.
Zenin is looking to work some ground and pound but Bedo has wrist control.
Zenin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bedo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bedo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zenin is controlling him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zenin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bedo's waist but Bedo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zenin off to one side.

Bedo and Zenin are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Bedo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Zenin into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Bedo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
