PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Lamar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snow Cone Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Snow Cone Bob!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws out a loose jab but Lamar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lamar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bob under the eye.
Lamar fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lamar.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bob enables Lamar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bob manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bob is looking for a triangle here but Lamar uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Lamar uses his free foot to push down on Bob's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bob.
Lamar is looking to take Bob's back but instead Bob gets back to half guard. Nice work.
Lamar is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well Lamar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
