The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jourgensen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jourgensen showed some decent athleticism there.
Jourgensen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bob does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bob wants to control but Jourgensen passes into side.
Jourgensen wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy.
Jourgensen is really struggling to control Bob but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Jourgensen has hold of Bob's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bob tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jourgensen cranks the arm and Bob screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bob, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
