The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Kock moves into the clinch.
Grimes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kock tries to pull guard but Grimes forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Grimes tries to break the clinch but Kock is controlling the position.
Kock content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Grimes looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Grimes is trying to break free.
Kock is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Grimes pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kock breaks the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grimes stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rizzy Kock. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grimes misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Kock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Grimes tries to break free but Kock pushes him back against the cage.
Grimes is trying to push Kock away but Kock has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Kock prevents Grimes from breaking the clinch.
Kock tries to pull guard but Grimes holds him up against the cage and eventually Kock drops back down to his feet.
Kock is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Grimes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Grimes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Grimes is trying to break free.
Kock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kock tries a body shot but Grimes blocks it.
Kock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grimes walks away with a smile on his face. Kock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kock moves into range and clinches up with Grimes.
Kock changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Grimes fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Grimes scores with a jab to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grimes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kock shoots in but no luck this time.
Kock is breathing heavily.

Grimes sends Kock crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Grimes is motioning to the referee to let Kock up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grimes wobbles Kock with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Grimes dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Kock to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
