Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tre Monroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lex Lee!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee dodges the punch combination from Monroe.
Monroe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lee looks winded!
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Monroe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Monroe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Monroe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monroe lands a big right hand that sends Lee crashing to the mat! Monroe stays standing though and waves Lee back to his feet!
Lee is rocked!
Monroe feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Lee crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tre Monroe!
Tre Monroe decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
