Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack BlackBelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diesel Ward will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws a combination. BlackBelt tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
BlackBelt dodges the punch combination from Ward.
BlackBelt shoots for a takedown but Ward saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ward throws a one two combo.
BlackBelt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ward swivels and escapes.
BlackBelt fails to land the takedown.

Ward fails to land with a series of punches.
Ward lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

BlackBelt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ward is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
BlackBelt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ward throws a right and a left that BlackBelt avoids nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
BlackBelt takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
BlackBelt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ward counters with a three punch combo that has BlackBelt backing up. BlackBelt nods at Ward to acknowledge the strikes.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
BlackBelt shoots in for a double leg but Ward sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

BlackBelt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ward drops down looking for an ankle pick but BlackBelt pulls his leg out and moves away.

and BlackBelt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ward's guard.
Ward looking for a sweep. Not yet Ward, not yet.
BlackBelt won't allow Ward to get back to his feet.
Ward takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ward is on top in guard.

Ward avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ward wants to get up but he can't break BlackBelt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

BlackBelt throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ward is sitting in close to BlackBelt's body. BlackBelt has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ward is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ward is tapping! That was a very nice submission by BlackBelt.
