Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blaine Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Carwwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blaine Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Carwwin!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwwin shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense.

Lesnar has Carwwin up against the cage in a clinch.
Lesnar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Carwwin to keep the fight standing.
Lesnar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lesnar as Carwwin tries to tie him up.

Carwwin drags the fight down to the ground.
Lesnar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Carwwin keeps moving.
Lesnar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Carwwin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carwwin holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Blaine Lesnar wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Lesnar rushes Carwwin and presses him up against the cage.

Lesnar swings wildly with an uppercut but Carwwin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carwwin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lesnar gets a takedown into half guard.
Carwwin works his way to full guard. Good work.

Carwwin pushes Lesnar off and scrambles back to his feet.
Carwwin shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense.
Carwwin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lesnar.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carwwin shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Blaine Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Carwwin.
Carwwin slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carwwin.
Carwwin closes the distance but Lesnar moves to the side

and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown. Carwwin fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carwwin wants to stand and escape but Lesnar is having none of it.
Lesnar trying to control but Carwwin is working from the bottom.
Carwwin pulls Lesnar in close to his closed guard and prevents Lesnar from doing any damage or advancing position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carwwin is on top in guard.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carwwin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carwwin passes into side control.
Carwwin is putting a hurting on Lesnar here, landing some big shots from side control.

Carwwin has hold of Lesnar's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lesnar tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Carwwin cranks the arm and Lesnar screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lesnar, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jose Carwwin!
