The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huecias has a takedown stuffed.
Lidell scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Tony Huecias has been cut.
Huecias slips a jab and a cross from Lidell.
Huecias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lidell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lidell throws a nice looking combination but Huecias bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Huecias shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lidell is looking to improve his position but Huecias isn't that keen on the idea.

Huecias goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lidell is on top in guard.
Huecias looks gassed!

Lidell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lidell content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Huecias is working an open guard so Lidell takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nice body kick there by Lidell.

Lidell darts in and clinches Huecias up against the cage.

Lidell breaks the clinch.
Huecias misses with a double jab
and Lidell counters with a left and a right that stings Huecias.
Huecias throws a head kick that misses
and Lidell counters with a two punch combo.

Huecias is rocked!

Lidell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huecias, pushing him back against the cage.
Huecias is still on wobbly legs! Can Lidell finish him?

Lidell breaks from the clinch.

Lidell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Huecias has gone for a leg lock! Lidell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Huecias's guard.
Lidell working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Huecias working for a triangle but Lidell defends it easily.
Huecias seems to have recovered his senses.
Huecias keeping full guard, as Lidell tries to pass.
Lidell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lidell won't allow Huecias to sweep him here.

Huecias is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lidell has his hands clasped together but Huecias extends an breaks Lidell's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Huecias.
