The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari connects with a high kick.
Ferrari connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Almdudler shoots in for a double leg but Ferrari sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ferrari digs a good hook to Almdudler's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ferrari connects with a body shot.
Almdudler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrari tries to avoid it but Almdudler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrari to the ground. Ferrari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Almdudler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferrari swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Almdudler fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreas Almdudler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Ferrari throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Almdudler is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
