Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bartholomew Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie McStar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bartholomew Simpson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bartholomew Simpson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

McStar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Simpson is defending well.
McStar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Simpson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Simpson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Simpson tries to throw a body punch but McStar avoids it by throwing Simpson back against the cage.
Simpson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McStar backwards.

It looks like Robbie McStar has been cut.
McStar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Simpson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bartholomew Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie McStar.
Simpson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McStar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Robbie McStar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McStar shoots in but Simpson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McStar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Simpson avoids it really well and circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Simpson moves in close and cracks McStar with a massive right hand! McStar, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Simpson!
