Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egorov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Egorov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Egorov misses with a hook. Gionathan ducked under it nicely.
Egorov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gionathan defends it nicely.
Egorov fails with the takedown.
Lorenzo Gionathan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaak Egorov.
Egorov dives in and scores a takedown into Gionathan's guard.
Egorov wants to control from the top but Gionathan keeps moving.
Egorov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gionathan is keeping the position for now.
Egorov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Egorov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gionathan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gionathan wants to sweep but no luck.

Gionathan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Egorov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Egorov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gionathan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Egorov throwing strikes from guard but Gionathan blocks nicely.
Egorov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Egorov won't allow Gionathan to sweep him here.
Egorov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gionathan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gionathan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gionathan pulls Egorov in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lorenzo Gionathan just wasn't active enough.
No luck for Egorov with that takedown attempt.

Egorov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gionathan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gionathan lunges at Egorov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Egorov's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Egorov walks into a stiff left hand from Gionathan.
Egorov looks winded!
Egorov closes the distance and clinches up with Gionathan, looking for a takedown. Egorov pushes Gionathan against the cage but Gionathan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gionathan fails with the takedown
and Gionathan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gionathan lands with a hook. Egorov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Egorov is rocked!
Gionathan scores with a jab to the body.
Egorov is still on wobbly legs! Can Gionathan finish him?
Gionathan drops Egorov with a naaaaasty hook - Egorov is in real trouble here! Gionathan dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
