Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grant Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horacio Vanderbeet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderbeet looks to throw the jab but Fortune is out of range.

Vanderbeet closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fortune did well to prevent Vanderbeet getting side control.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vanderbeet checks a leg kick.
Vanderbeet throws a head kick but Fortune moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Fortune there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fortune slaps away a takedown attempt from Vanderbeet, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Fortune throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vanderbeet tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fortune is in Vanderbeet's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vanderbeet is on top in guard.

Vanderbeet drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Vanderbeet as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Fortune screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Vanderbeet! Nice submission victory there!
