The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia scoring well with a low kick there.
Maia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flush sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maia somewhat.
Maia defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Flush.
Maia leaves Flush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Maia misses with a series of wild punches.

Maia forces Flush back against the cage and clinches.

Maia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maia connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Straight Flush has been cut.
Maia throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Maia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Flush takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Maia tries to clinch up but Flush circles away and keeps his distance.

Flush takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Flush shoots in and bounces Maia off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flush can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Flush with a flurry of punches that miss.

Maia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flush doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flush manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Maia is looking for a triangle but Flush pushes his legs off easily.

Flush stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Maia throws up his legs and catches Flush in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Flush tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Maia! That came out of nowhere!
