The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coutinho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Florida circles away.
Coutinho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Coutinho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Florida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Florida counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Coutinho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Florida counters with a nice body kick.

Coutinho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Coutinho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Coutinho with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Florida to score with a decent uppercut.

Coutinho has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Florida. Oh but Coutinho has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Florida goes limp - he's gone! Coutinho jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
