The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ripkin is looking to clinch but Meyers is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Ripkin or perhaps it was just good defense by Meyers which made him look bad.
Josh Ripkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meyers takes the fight into the clinch.
Ripkin tries to land knees in the clinch but Meyers avoids the damage to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Meyers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Meyers.
Meyers throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ripkin crashing down! Ripkin tries to stagger back to his feet but Meyers just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ripkin asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
