Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blackhole Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munechika is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Requiem for a Dream. Blackhole Corleone could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kato Munechika's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Munechika - just one landing.
Munechika tests Corleone's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Munechika connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Corleone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Munechika pinned against the cage. Munechika gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Corleone jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Corleone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Munechika did well to prevent Corleone getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Munechika fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Corleone.

Corleone shoots in for a double leg but Munechika sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kato Munechika has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Corleone.

Munechika fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Munechika throws a sloppy head kick and Corleone moves out of range easily.
Corleone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Munechika sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Corleone somewhat.
Corleone takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Corleone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Corleone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Munechika throws out the jab.

Munechika fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Corleone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Munechika uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Corleone.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Munechika holds on and takes a little breather.
Munechika lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Corleone!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Corleone tries to buck Munechika off but he can't manage it.
Corleone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's time! Corleone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Corleone shoots in looking for a takedown. Munechika tries to sprawl out of it but Corleone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Munechika manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Corleone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Munechika lands a nice leg kick that just misses Corleone's sensitive parts.

Corleone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Munechika on the ground.

Corleone has his foot on Munechika's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Munechika works his way back into a safe position though.

Corleone changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Munechika fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Oh Corleone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
