Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Rae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Lisiowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Rae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrzej Lisiowski!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisiowski stuffs the takedown attempt from Rae. Rae gets slowly back to his feet.
Rae throws a nice looking combination but Lisiowski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lisiowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lisiowski lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lisiowski.
Lisiowski misses with the combination.

Rae clinches up with Lisiowski and pushes him back against the cage.
Rae tries for a takedown but Lisiowski manages to get underhooks.
Rae is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Rae. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rae breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lisiowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rae slips a jab and a cross from Lisiowski.
Rae fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lisiowski tries to bum rush Rae with a series of wild strikes but Rae uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rae rushes Lisiowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lisiowski lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Rae goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lisiowski prevents it.

Rae gets control of Lisiowski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rae will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lisiowski wants to stand but Rae is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rae bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lisiowski's guard.

Rae stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lisiowski lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Rae closes the distance and pushes Lisiowski back into the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Rae tries for a takedown but Lisiowski manages to get underhooks.

Rae decides to pull guard.
Lisiowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rae. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rae bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lisiowski's guard.
Rae postures up and lands a big shot to Lisiowski's brow.
Rae is working Lisiowski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rae working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lisiowski's head.

Rae stands up over Lisiowski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rae throws a big elbow that misses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lisiowski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lisiowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rae is controlling him.

Rae trying to control the position from guard on top but Lisiowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rae throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rae in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lisiowski pulls Rae in to control the position.
Rae lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rae passes into half guard.
Rae working Lisiowski over with strikes.
Rae throwing shots but Lisiowski is blocking nicely.
Rae frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee warns Lisiowski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rae thowing shots but they're missing.
Rae pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lisiowski takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Lisiowski can't escape the position.
Rae with shots to the head and body - Lisiowski looks very uncomfortable down there.
Lisiowski is bucking up trying to escape but Rae cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rae lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lisiowski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Rae scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rae has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lisiowski's face.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rae is landing with some decent strikes but Lisiowski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcus Rae dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lisiowski stuffs the takedown attempt from Rae. Rae gets slowly back to his feet.
Lisiowski's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lisiowski duly obliges.


It looks like Marcus Rae has been cut.
Lisiowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rae circles away quickly and effectively.
Rae shoots in for a takedown but Lisiowski shows good takedown defense.
The crowd cheers as Lisiowski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rae doesn't seem phased though.
Marcus Rae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rae on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nice body punch from Lisiowski.
Rae looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lisiowski is fending him off so far but Rae persists. Nope, Lisiowski circles away and we're back to standing.

Rae tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lisiowski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Lisiowski drops Rae with a beautiful combination! Rae stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lisiowski is looking for the KO!


Rae is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lisiowski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rae stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Rae is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rae.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lisiowski connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Rae! He's out on his feet! Lisiowski rushes in and drops Rae with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andrzej Lisiowski!
