Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Doran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephon Van Ommeren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Ommeren takes the fight into the clinch.
Van Ommeren escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doran misses with a jab, cross combination.
Van Ommeren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doran's waist but Doran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Van Ommeren off to one side.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Van Ommeren shoots in looking for a takedown. Doran tries to sprawl out of it but Van Ommeren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doran manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Van Ommeren walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Van Ommeren dives in and grabs Doran's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doran pushes down on Van Ommeren's head and hops out.
